In Riddle there is a general store with a gas station that is run by the Riddle Ranch. The main buildings of the Riddle Ranch can be seen across the meadows to the west and north. SH-51 runs right through the middle of Riddle Ranch. At certain times travelers down SH-51 may have to stop and wait for a few minutes while Riddle Ranch buckaroos on horseback cross the highway with hundreds of cattle.

Riddle was the fictional location for the beginning and end of the film Vanishing Point (1997 remake).
