Marci Alboher

Marci Alboher (born in Brooklyn, New York) is an American author, journalist, speaker, and writing instructor with a background in law. She is author of One Person/Multiple Careers: A New Model for Work/Life Success (Warner Books, 2007), which popularized to the term "slash" to refer to a person with concurrent multiple careers.[1] Alboher is a frequent contributor to The New York Times, where she originated the Shifting Careers column and blog. She lives in New York City.

Early life and education

The daughter of Linda and Manny Alboher, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and received her law degree from American University.[2]
