The company Contemporary Literature(“Hyundae Munhak” in Korean), founded in South Korea in 1954, is one of the leading publishing companies in the literary field and has been publishing the nation's most prestigious monthly literary magazine Hyundae Munhak and a wide range of books on humanities and arts.[1]

Hyundae Munhak also presents annual literature awards, which are among the most prestigious in Korea.[2]
